With each session, we come away with so many tips, resources and ideas to carry over at home and into the school year. Caryn and Tamara’s approach is warm, authentic, experienced and professional - they are exactly the kind of teachers you would want working with your children. Each week, our son eagerly looks forward to seeing his new friends, as well as Caryn and Tamara. He has learned so much, had a lot of fun and made lots of progress towards his goals. Caryn and Tamara made each of their students feel special and part of a tight-knit group right at the start - our son was given a drawstring backpack with his name for materials, a binder for art and papers (and parent summaries), and fun little prizes for jobs well done. At the end of each session, Caryn and Tamara provides us parents with a detailed, written summary of the skills they worked on together and well-framed, concrete suggestions so we could carry the new skills over at home. In the middle of the summary session, we had a phone conference with them to review our son’s participating and progress, and this gave us additional the opportunity to ask more questions in the context of our son’s progress.
